AZKENA ROCK FESTIVAL IS EXTENDING TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT ÁLAVA WITH ITS FREE ARABA ARF TOUR PROGRAMMING

Artziniega and Llodio will kick things off by hosting five free concerts on June 9 and 10

The new Araba ARF Tour programming serves as a teaser for the festival. This initiative is back for the second consecutive year alongside the Provincial Council of Álava to bring us free programming which will carry the spirit of rock and roll and Azkena Rock Festival’s flame to different locations throughout Álava. On Friday, June 9, in Artziniega, in the fronton parking lot, Moonshine Wagon will be playing. This Alava-based band has become a reference in the Basque Country’s heavy-bluegrass scene. Also playing will be Micky and The Buzz, classic rock and roll Bilbao Quintet, with Italian Micky Paiano on vocals. On Saturday, June 10, the programming takes us to the fronton wall in Lamuza de Llodio with the Bilbao-based group Los Brazos. This power trio possesses an unusual strength, unique to those who have played rock and roll since early childhood. Also playing will be the punk-rock band Xuorum, and the local band Doctor Lawson, who promise to offer a great show of live independent music that will leave no one indifferent.
