The first edition of the international BIME festival in Bogota will close with a bang on Saturday, May 7th at the Palacio de los Deportes.

The lineup, led by Nathy Peluso, will feature powerful live performances by Nanpa Básico, The Change, Recycled J and Rap Bang Club.

After 10 successful years in Bilbao, the international festival BIME LIVE arrives for the first time in Bogota loaded with music trending all over the world. Held at the Palacio de los Deportes, today the lineup marked by Latin power is revealed.

This lineup is led by songwriter, singer and rapper Nathy Peluso, who embodies the most provoking and multifaceted dimension of the festival. She brings the versatility of genres that recently earned her the Latin GRAMMY award for “Best Alternative Album” for her debut in which she moves from sharp hip hop to elegant retro R&B, and even adds a modern take on old school salsa. The Spain-based Argentinian artist has chosen BIME to perform in Colombia as part of her Calambre world tour—which will find her fresh off the stages of the legendary Coachella.

Local talent will be represented by Nanpa Básico, a benchmark of the new generation of hip hop, with a significant amount of social criticism in his lyrics. The Colombian singer and composer will bring his explosive live performance in which he delivers his rhymes impulsively, with the energy of someone who is not afraid to expose his emotions to the public. Additionally, the Bogota-based duo Rap Bang Club will heat up the venue with their phrasing and sampling approach shaped by jazz, funk, reggae, trap and dancehall influences.

The lineup will also feature the new urban sounds of the Caribbean from Dominican Republic’s The Change. Combined with the performance from Spain’s musical avant-garde representative Recycled J, these two artists reflect the Ibero-American spirit that has characterised BIME since its beginnings and now more than ever in this first edition in Latin America.

This must-attend musical event will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Bogota. This is the ideal place to let yourself be carried away by live music, with the performances of the most relevant artists on the international scene.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 23st at 9 a.m. Colombia Time (COT) and can be purchased on the festival www.bime.net y en See Tickets
